January 3 is International Mind-Body Wellness Day, which I never knew before this year. After last year, I'm starting early on gathering all the good juju I can. I stumbled across the info about Mind-Body Wellness Day while researching new ways to incorporate balance and wellness into my business practices.
In the year that I've been operating as a full-time entrepreneur, I've come to rely on mind, body and soul connection as a means of accomplishing business goals. Productivity goes way up when I'm in good shape physically and emotionally. I'll shamefully admit, I'm not big on exercise, but there is a noticeable difference in how well my brain operates after 30 minutes of activity followed by a quick saging. The goal for this year is to be consistent enough to take full advantage of the benefits that come with nurturing the mind-body-soul connection.
Mind-body wellness expert and best-selling author, Jaya Jaya Myra, has a few tips on how we can celebrate International Mind-Body Wellness Day every day. Her WELL Method was designed to help people maintain a healthy mindset as they face life's ups and downs and pursue their purpose. The WELL Method can be customized to fit any needs, beliefs and lifestyles. I like it because it's a relatively easy way to keep focus on what's important while reminding you that you're 100 percent that bitch.
